Year 2020 will be remembered in history where the world economy is struggling no thanks to covid-19. Many countries adopted a lockdown to fight covid-19. As the pandemic causes many deaths around the world, coupled with finger-blaming and racism attacks on a high, it is as if the world news is all centred around negative things.
I am working in my house as I typed this out. To me, the world has just reached a standstill. My travels are cancelled and the things I have always taken for granted now seems to be mission impossible as a result of this corona-virus. Taking a plane, eating out with friends, going on gatherings, sharing drinks or even standing close to one another now seems to be a taboo. If this virus never happened, I would have continued to take these trivial things for granted and live my life as per normal.
Essential jobs workers face the risk of infection while non-essential jobs workers are asked to work from home or are forced to take a no-pay leave to ride this period out. At this point of time, the difference between the rich and the poor becomes even more distinct. The rich can take this time to spend more quality time with their loved ones or even start off a new hobby in a nice cozy house while the poor is worried sick about their source of income and their livelihood.
But on a side note, it seems that nature has gotten a jab of rejuvenation. Air pollution is down, rivers are getting cleaner and animals seem to be able to wander around peacefully in their natural habitat.
The burning question is this. What will it all end? (For those who are interested I made a little prediction in my another post on my other website. Click HERE to find out). And what should I do now?
Although this is a trying period of time, this is also a good time for you to pursue your interests or passions or do some self-reflection. Adversity brings about opportunities so ask yourself what more can you do for yourself to better yourself in this period of time? It can be as simple as starting that 5 minute exercise per day to keep fit or resume that reading habit of yours that you have forsaken as a result of your long working hours. Or you can start on diversifying your business model to thrive in this pandemic.
There are also many courses that you can learn at discounted or even for free during this period of time. Do not just sit and wait and wallow in despair. Take your initiative to emerge stronger and more powerful.
I am sad to say I have yet to bring my courses to online learning and while I have no plans to do so, I do have plans to write a book on some simple tips to get everyone in better health and wealth status with the help of some Fengshui and Bazi. Do keep a lookout for my book when it is out.
Last but not least, take care of your health and may you emerge a winner when this pandemic is over.
